Bachelor of Science, Major in Integrated Studies: Sustainable Community Management Concentration

The BS in Integrated Studies: Sustainable Community Management Concentration combines minors in Accounting, Geo-Spatial Science, and Public Administration and Public Policy to provide students with a well-rounded education that integrates essential public administration, spatial analysis, and financial management elements. Graduates can pursue career paths that involve researching and developing policies to tackle social, economic, and environmental challenges, utilizing geospatial data to design and implement urban development projects, coordinating disaster response and crisis management efforts, managing non-profit organizations to fulfill their missions, analyzing environmental data to provide recommendations for sustainable practices, managing budgets, overseeing logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the efficient delivery of goods and services, and overseeing fire services to ensure effective emergency response.

Graduation requirements include completing all course requirements along with completing at least 120 hours, 42 advanced hours, 24 advanced in-residence hours, and INTG 4301.  Students may need to take general electives and/or advanced general electives outside of courses outlined on their degree plan to meet those requirements.
