Undergraduate Certificate in Gulf Studies

Students in the Undergraduate Certificate in Gulf Studies learn about multi-faceted issues facing the Gulf of Mexico region, including a focus on East and Southeast Texas.  An interdisciplinary seminar, field course, and applied internship experience provide skills students need to work with communities, agencies, and companies in the region. 

Students must meet the University's general admissions standards.  Any admitted undergraduate student with 60 completed credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.0 can be considered for admission.
