Marketable skills are those skills valued by employers and/or graduate programs that can be applied in a variety of work or education settings and may include interpersonal, cognitive, and applied skill areas.
The BFA in Theatre: Acting and Directing Emphasis is designed to provide graduates with the following marketable skills:
- Creative problem solving, taking into account history, practical application, and personnel.
- Work as a team member to solve problems.
- Perform under pressure in a public atmosphere.
- Present ideas and solutions verbally to others.
- Time management.
