ATTR 3370. Prevention & Care of Injuries. 3 Hours.

Students explore the care and prevention of injuries common within sport and active populations via instruction and laboratory work. This course is designed to establish foundational evidence-based knowledge that is necessary for students in pre-health professions, sport coaching, physical education, and other careers in kinesiology who aim to work with a physically active population. Prerequisite:
Prerequisite: BIOL 2401 or BIOL 2403 or KINE 3321, and 45 Credit Hours.

In the 3+2 degree option, students must apply and be accepted to the  Master of Science in Athletic Training  ( MSAT ) program to complete the dual degree. Students who are not accepted to the MSAT should complete the associated BS degree. Students who complete the MSAT 3+2 dual degrees are awarded both the BS and MSAT degrees upon completion of the 3+2 degree requirements.
