ECON 3372. Intermediate Macroeconomics. 3 Hours.
Students develop a deep understanding of key macroeconomic concepts and measurements, learning how income, employment, prices, and output are determined in an economy. They gain proficiency in core macroeconomic models, including the IS-LM and AD-AS frameworks for both closed and open economies, and apply these models to analyze macroeconomic shocks and evaluate economic policy issues.
Prerequisite: ECON 2301 and MATH 1342.
