Students examine the bioenergetics of metabolic pathways and processes, focusing on the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. Students explore the interrelationships among metabolic pathways and the regulation of metabolism. Offered Spring.
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in CHEM 1411, CHEM 1412, CHEM 2323, CHEM 2123, CHEM 2325, CHEM 2125 and CHEM 3438.
