CHEM 2401. Quantitative Analysis. 4 Hours.

Students apply the fundamental principles of quantitative analysis, including acid-base, complexometric, precipitation, and redox titrations, solution equilibria, and spectrophotometric methods. Laboratory exercises involve volumetric procedures and colorimetric analysis in a four-hour laboratory. Prerequisite laboratory components must be completed as in-person, supervised laboratory experiences, or student must obtain consent of the department. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer.
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in CHEM 1411 and CHEM 1412.
