SPED 5301. Education of Individuals with Disabilities. 3 Hours.
Students examine the strengths and needs of individuals with disabilities and their implications for identification and educational programming. Students will analyze relevant legislation and case law addressing the rights of individuals with disabilities. Students will apply this knowledge to support effective practices for both general and special education settings.
