SOCI 3376. Rural And Urban Sociology. 3 Hours.
Students examines the human community in its ecological, cultural, and associational aspects. Topics may include the folk, rural, and urban community considered from the standpoint of various sociological perspectives. Special attention is given to social change, including decision-making as it affects local life. This course quips students with essential skills that directly translate into many industries (e.g., interpersonal communication, navigating complex social relationships, etc.).
Prerequisite: SOCI 1301 or SOCI 2319.
