PSYC 6392. Practicum II. 3 Hours.
Students develop competencies in clinical intervention and professionalism through supervised training at an external practicum site. The main goals of this course are to (a) help students increase their ability to provide evidence-based clinical services including Motivational Interviewing and (b) ensure that students work with their clients in a competent and ethical manner. This course includes lecture, class discussions, group case consultation, directed readings homework, and supervised clinical fieldwork.
Prerequisite: PSYC 6391.
