POLS 4095. Independent Studies. 1-3 Hours.
Students design and complete independent research or advanced readings under the supervision of a Political Science faculty member. Students demonstrate the ability to apply disciplinary methods, synthesize scholarly literature, and communicate their findings in written or oral form. Enrollment requires approval from the Department Chair and the supervising instructor. This course may be taken for Academic Distinction Credit. Variable Credit (1–3). Course Equivalents: POLS 4395
Prerequisite: 6 hours of Political Science and departmental permission.
