PHYS 4398. Senior Thesis. 3 Hours.
Students engage in original research or guided independent study combined with an exercise in technical writing. Research activities in the fundamental or applied sciences—including science education—or a related literature review are supervised by a member of the Physics and Astronomy faculty. Findings are presented in a well-organized written report that adheres to scholarly standards for data handling and citation of prior work.
Prerequisite: Approval of the Supervising Faculty Member.
