MCJR 3366. Photojournalism. 3 Hours.
Students create news and feature photos, sports images, environmental portraits, and photo essays to report for traditional and digital news platforms. Emphasis may be placed on visual storytelling, captioning, and publishing for digital and social media. Fundamental principles of photojournalism such as history, freedom of press, ethics, accuracy, and the power of the image to convey the message are explored. Course Equivalents: MCOM 3366 .
