FORS 8099. Dissertation. 1-6 Hours.
Students conduct independent research and complete a dissertation demonstrating their ability to design studies, analyze findings, and present results in a scholarly manner. The course covers research methodologies, literature review, data analysis, and academic writing, with guidance provided through faculty supervision and feedback. The completed dissertation must represent a meaningful contribution to knowledge in forensic science and be of publishable quality. Variable credit (1–6).
