ETEE 4351. Automation and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). 3 Hours.
Students learn and explore the concepts of automation and programmable logic controllers. Topics may include numbering systems and gate logics, programmable logic controllers hardware components, equipment interfacing, ladder logic programs and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming. Application-oriented laboratory design experiments are used to enhance students' knowledge and skills.
Prerequisite: ETEE 3350 or Consent of Instructor.
