ETDD 2363. Architectural Design. 3 Hours. [TCCN: ARCH 2603]

Students are introduced to the fundamentals of residential architectural design principles and drafting techniques. They will develop a complete set of plans and specifications for a small residence, applying concepts of space planning, building codes, and material selection. Emphasis may be placed on industry-standard drawing conventions, dimensioning, detailing, and presentation techniques using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
