EQSC 3340. Equine Behavior & Training I. 3 Hours.
Students develop knowledge and skills to improve horsemanship ability to effectively communicate with and train the young horse. Topics include but are not limited to safety around horses, equine behavior, ground training methods, desensitization, mounted training methods, equipment, stable management, and young horse management. Course Equivalents: AGRI 3340
Prerequisite: EQSC 2364.
