CRIJ 7342. Advanced Statistics I. 3 Hours.
Students gain a multivariate statistical techniques commonly used in criminology and criminal justice research. Topics may include data screening, multiple regression, logistic regression, and other models for categorical outcomes, principal components, and factor analysis. Emphasis is placed on practical application and interpretation of these methods using statistical software such as Stata, SPSS, or R. Course Equivalents: CRIJ 7442 .
