COUN 5336. Treatment Planning & Interventions. 3 Hours.
Students develop context-specific treatment plans across diagnoses, populations, and settings, including determining appropriate level of care, writing outcome-focused, symptom-based SMART goals, and tracking progress through an approved format. Students will research context-appropriate evidence-informed interventions and commonly prescribed psychotropic medications and their pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, side-effects, and contra-indications. Students will locate vetted community supports for clients and caregivers as part of an integrated comprehensive and holistic treatment planning approach.
Prerequisite: COUN 5334.
