Students discuss therapeutic play as a child’s language for socio-emotional processing and different theoretical approaches to understanding child’s play. They identify forms of therapeutic play expressions (e.g., toys, art, music, games, ropes or cooperative activities, animals, sandtray, etc.) as applied in various settings (e.g., schools, hospitals, child advocacy centers, etc.).
