CLIN 7421. Primary Care – Obstetrics and Gynecology. 4 Hours.
Students work with Obstetricians and Gynecologists who care for patients during pregnancy or who have gynecologic disorders in either the outpatient clinic, the hospital, or in both scenarios. Experiences may include some intensive care. Students engage with patients to collect data, perform physical examinations, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of pregnant patients or those with gynecologic disorders.
Prerequisite: CLIN 7407.
