CLIN 7419. Primary Care – Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. 4 Hours.
Students rotate with Med-Peds, Internal Medicine, and Pediatric physicians who care for adults and/or children with complex medical problems in the outpatient clinic, the hospital, or in both scenarios. Experiences may include some intensive care. Students engage with patients to collect data, perform physical examinations, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for managing complex medical scenarios. Credit: 4 hours.
Prerequisite: CLIN 7402 and CLIN 7406.
