CLINÂ 7085. Surgery - Pediatric. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with pediatric surgeons who provide surgical care for children with conditions amenable to surgery. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, consultations, and surgical interventions. Students engage with patients and their families in the collection of data, perform a physical examination, attend operative interventions, and work with their Attending physician(s) to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a surgical plan for management of disorders amenable to pediatric surgery. Credit: Variable, maximum 4 hours.
