CLIN 7065. Surgery – Transplant. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with specialty surgeons who provide surgical care for patients with solid organ transplants. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, consultations, and surgical interventions. Students collect data, perform a physical examination, attend operative interventions, and work with their Attending physician(s) to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of patients who need or have received a solid organ transplant. Credit: Variable, maximum 4 hours.
