CLINÂ 7054. Advanced Psychiatry. 1-4 Hours.
Students engage with psychiatrists who care for individuals with complex or specialized psychiatric disorders. The rotation site may include the psychiatric emergency department, outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, and subspecialty consultations. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, perform a physical and specialty-specific examination, and work with their Attending physician(s) to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of advanced or specialized psychiatric disorders. Credit: Variable, maximum 4 hours.
