CLIN 7048. Pediatrics – Rheumatology. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with pediatric rheumatologists who care for children with multisystem disease and autoimmune, inflammatory, and degenerative disorders of the skeleton. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, and subspecialty consultations. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, perform physical examinations, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate plans for management of pediatric rheumatologic disorders. Credit: 1-4 hours.
