CLIN 7047. Pediatrics – Pulmonary Medicine. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with pediatric pulmonologists who care for children with acute and chronic lung diseases. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, subspecialty consultations, and outpatient surgical interventions. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, perform physical examinations, attend surgical procedures when requested, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate plans for management of childhood lung and sleep disorders. Credit: 1-4 hours.
