CLIN 7043. Pediatrics – Genetics. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with geneticists who provide care for families with possible genetic illness. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, and consultations. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, perform physical examinations, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate plans for management of children with possible genetic disorders. Credit: 1-4 hours.
