CLINÂ 7041. Pediatric - Gastroenterology. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with pediatric gastroenterologists who care for children with gastrointestinal and nutritional disorders. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, subspecialty consultations, and outpatient surgical interventions. Students engage with patients and their families in the collection of data, perform physical examinations, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate plans for management of childhood gastrointestinal and nutritional disorders. Credit: 1-4 hours.
