CLIN 7038. Pediatrics – Child Abuse or Behavior/Development. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with pediatricians who care for children with behavior or development disorders or who have been abused. The experience may include an outpatient rotation and inpatient admissions and/or consultations. Students engage with patients and their families in the collection of data, perform physical examinations, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate plans for management of childhood disease or trauma. Credit: 1-4 hours.
