CLIN 7035. Pediatrics – Hospital Medicine. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with pediatric hospitalists who care for hospitalized children with serious illness. The experience may include inpatient admissions and/or consultations and some intensive care. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, perform physical examinations, work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate plans for management of children with serious illness. Credit: 1-4 hours.
