CLINÂ 7025. Advanced Neurology. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with neurologists who care for patients with neurologic disorders. Preceptors may be further specialized in brain injury medicine, clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and/or vascular neurology. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, and/or specialty consultations. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, to perform a physical examination, and to work with their Attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of neurologic disorders. Credit: 1- 4 hours.
