The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, subspecialty consultations, and outpatient surgical interventions. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, to perform a physical examination, to attend surgical procedures when requested, and to work with their Attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of transplant disorders.
