CLIN 7021. Internal Medicine – Rheumatology. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with rheumatologists who care for patients with multisystem disease and autoimmune, inflammatory, and degenerative disorders of the skeleton. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, and subspecialty consultations. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, to perform a physical examination, and to work with their Attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of rheumatologic disorders. Credit: 1-4 hours.
