CLINÂ 7017. Internal Medicine - Hematology - Oncology. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with hematologists and/or oncologists who care for patients with hematologic and/or oncologic disorders. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, subspecialty consultations, and outpatient surgical interventions. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, to perform a physical examination, to attend surgical procedures when requested, and to work with their Attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of common hematologic and oncologic disorders. Credit: 1-4 hours.
