CLINÂ 7013. Internal Medicine - Cardiac Care Unit. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with cardiologists who care for patients with cardiovascular conditions in the intensive care setting. The experience may include inpatient admissions and/or consultations. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, to perform a physical examination, to work with their Attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of the most severe cardiovascular scenarios. Credit: 1-4 hours.
Prerequisite: CLIN 7801.
