CLINÂ 7008. Geriatrics. 1-4 Hours.
Students train with internal medicine- or family medicine-trained geriatricians who care for geriatric patients with complex medical problems. The experience may include outpatient clinic and inpatient or emergency department consultations. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, to perform a physical examination, to work with their Attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a plan for management of complex outpatient scenarios in the older adult. Credit: 1-4 hours.
