CIEE 3334. Mathematics Instruction In Elementary Grades. 3 Hours.
Students learn the methods and activities used to actively engage elementary school students in the construction of mathematical concepts. Students will learn how to evaluate and implement a wide selection of research-based mathematics curricula for students in elementary classrooms. Field experience may be required. This course is taken as part of Field I Block for PK-3 and EC-6 Certifications. Course Equivalents: CIEE 4334
Prerequisite: Admission to Educator Preparation Program.
