ACCT 4325. Emerging Technology in Accounting. 3 Hours.
Students examine emerging and recently developed technologies for the impact on the quantity and quality of accounting data. Emphasis is may be placed on developing a technology-forward mindset to analyze data, automate processes, and enhance decision-making. Tools such as Excel® and Tableau® may be used to facilitate learning and prepare students for the dynamic demands of modern accounting roles.
Prerequisite: ACCT 3313 with a minimum grade of C.
