ACCT 3347. Cost Accounting. 3 Hours.
Students study real-world tools and techniques that cost accountants use to understand how businesses operate and make decisions. Students learn essential concepts such as cost terminology, cost behavior, job order and process costing, budgeting, cost-volume-profit analysis, standard costing, and activity-based costing. Students will convert cost information into meaningful insights that support planning, control, and competitive decision-making.
Prerequisite: ACCT 2301 and ACCT 2302 with a minimum grade of C in each.
