Students who want to pursue graduate studies in economics are encouraged take additional courses in mathematics and statistics. Suggested courses include: MATH 1420MATH 1430MATH 2440MATH 3377STAT 3379, or STAT 4371. Please, visit with the department chair for additional guidance.  

A minor is not required for this degree program; however, a student has the option to add a minor, but to do so additional semester credits hours will be needed above the degree program’s stated total semester credit hours.
