MATH 1430. Calculus II. 4 Hours. [TCCN: MATH 2414]

Students study the definite integral and its applications, techniques of integration, improper integrals, Taylor's formula and infinite series.
Prerequisite: MATH 1420 with a grade of C or better.

1 MATH 1420 satisfies the Core Curriculum requirement for Component Area II (Mathematics) and one semester credit hour of the Core Curriculum requirement for Component Area IX (Component Area Option).  MATH 1420 satisfies the prerequisite requirement for MATH 1430 . 2 Select one Concentration (Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics) from the options below.  3 A minor is not required for this degree program; however, a student has the option to add a minor, but to do so additional semester credits hours may be needed above the degree program’s stated total semester credit hours.
