Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Assessment and Institutional Research
The graduate certificate in Higher Education Assessment and Institutional Research develops postsecondary faculty and administrators’ abilities to access, manage, analyze, and use data in today’s complex higher education contexts. The program supports faculty and staff of all levels and from a variety of institutional types in learning about assessment, institutional research, data management, analysis, accountability, accreditation, strategic planning, enrollment management, leadership, resource management, among other areas of focus.
This Graduate Certificate is eligible to receive Title IV funding – Direct Unsubsidized Loans and Graduate PLUS loans by request. To be considered for aid, students need to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Applicants seeking admission to the graduate certificate in Higher Education Assessment and Institutional Research must submit the following directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions:

- Application fee
- Official transcript from the baccalaureate degree granting institution
- Three Recommendation Forms
The certificate requires completion of fifteen hours of graduate credit.
