This advanced course establishes knowledge and understanding of nutritional concepts in the biochemical context. Biochemical, physical and metabolic functions of the nutrients; pathways of nutrients from ingestion, assimilation and metabolism; digestive and metabolic interactions between drugs and nutrients are discussed.
