EQSC 4379. Equine Nutrition. 3 Hours.
Students engage in an overall evaluation of the equine digestive system. Topics include but are not limited to equine gastrointestinal anatomy, digestion, absorption, and utilization of major classes of nutrients, requirements for various classes of horses, feedstuffs, managment, health care, and current and historical nutrition research.
